I was in Savannah area on vacation from Cleveland Ohio. Fuel pump went out on my truck on Wednesday. I called and they said they'd get it done for me. Had it towed to them. They had to order pump and was supposed to be done next day at just under $900. Next day comes and they call me to tell me they had to switch out the fuel tank due to o-ring being rusted. Another $200 and another day of no truck. Then next day upon installing tank and pump they call and say they have to replace fuel lines but they have to be ordered from dealer and won't be there and ready until Monday. So 5 days and a total of $2,000. I took the previous fuel tank home with me to hopefully recoup some money. It took me less than 2 minutes to get the rusted o-ring off with absolutely no damage to tank which makes me believe they never even attempted to remove it. So they basically replaced the tank without needing to and with all of the extra work replacing it jarred the fuel lines to cause leak when it was completely unnecessary. They also put a new o-ring on the tank they replaced so if they had attempted to take the rusted one off they could've just replaced the o-ring and been finished. Way overcharged for what was done.
